Old Exterior
These are just a few pictures of the exterior before I dove headfirst into this project. I remember when I first bought it about sixyears ago. All I really wanted was a '66 mustang coupe with a V-8 and manual transmission. Well I ended up with quite a bit more than that. I still remember looking a the wires sticking out of the tires before I drove it 110 miles from Atlanta, GA to Macon, GA. Yah, tires and wheels were the first things on the list. I bought some 225x15 tires and put them on Magnum 500s at all the corners. It definitely made the side-pipe stand out even more after that. The original wheels were some very flat American Racing that really didn't have any personality to them at all. Other than that I never really messed with the exterior at all, aside from new mirrors, and lights. Thoes tri-bar halogen lights are light-years ahead (pun intended) of the original headlights. Gives it a nice touch up front too. Well enjoy these pictures. I might post some more later as time goes by and I sort them out. You can click on them and bring up a larger slideshow view.
Really Old Pictures
So I was cleaning out my closet upstairs and I actually found the For-Sale ad of my car way back in 2004. Luckily the pages that I printed out were still nice and crisp so the scans came out great. Here you can see the very first pictures of Rydia. Yah she was nice, but I tell you the "Excellent condition ready to drive!" bit was how we should say, a little bit from the truth. But that's usually what you'll see with these old cars, unless you get out and kick the tires a bit. I think if I would of kicked the tires on this car they would of pop, but that's another story that I rambled on before. Anyways, check out the aftermarket A/C system under the dash. Oh yes that is a Sears and Roebuck Co. model, it was better than nothing, but I took that out quickly after it stopped working. Anyways, enjoy...
