Old Interior

I remember the first time I saw a picture of this car.  I loved the Red, black, and chrome interior.  Though I could of done without the aftermarket radio that was hacked in the dash, and the Sears and Roebuck underdash A/C unit was really very odd.  Where they actually found that one I will never know, but after a little bit of fighting to get cold air out of it, I ripped it all out and took the A/C compressor off the engine.  It definitely made the engine bay alot cleaner without all the A/C stuff rigged on here and there.  Along the same lines, a Sunco aftermarket tachometer is not a replacement for the Rally-pac, so off that went also.
The seats were semi-comfortable, nothing fancy, but it did keep your butt off the metal floor.  I still think there rear leaf-springs were locked up because the car would bounce over just about everything until you had a few friends sitting in the back to preload it.
Overall, I really liked this interior and hope to reuse alot of it to keep that classic Mustang look to it.  Definitely just keeping the stick alone in the middle, it's just a very clean look.  You can click on the pictures below to pull up a larger slideshow of them
